Aha! Consulting leads the ongoing community engagement for quarry operations, including the temporary asphalt plant established for the Main Roads Gateway project and the site infrastructure upgrade.
This work has included conducting situation assessments, community consultation, managing the community reference group and site open days, as well as media liaison and press coverage on the project upgrades.
The Challenge
Boral required ongoing, proactive community engagement to manage the complex relationships between quarry operations, a temporary asphalt plant, and the surrounding community across a major infrastructure project.
Our Approach
We led the initial reset of the relationship with the community and the ongoing community engagement program, including situation assessments, community consultation, management of the community reference group, site open days, and media liaison throughout the site infrastructure upgrade.
