Project Overview
Over a number of years, the Department has run three-day conferences for regional Indigenous local government councillors.
Aha! Consulting provided a range of services for this project:
· Assisting presenters to design and present their content (often dry legislative-based information) in a manner that would engage Aboriginal people
· Facilitation of planning and linking sessions to ensure the content was well connected and building towards meaningful outcomes
Conducting and collating workshop evaluations and reports
The Challenge
Regional Indigenous local government councillors needed accessible, engaging professional development over multi-day conferences, including complex legislative content.
Our Approach
We supported presenters to design and deliver content in engaging ways for Aboriginal audiences, facilitated planning and linking sessions across the program, and conducted and reported on workshop evaluations.
